Because of You, Our Community,
We've Accomplished

March 2018  Launched the NOW (Navigate, Opportunity, Worth) program and welcomed the foster care youth into the program.

April 2018    Our youth improved their skills in public speaking, problem solving, social interaction, stress management, persistence and ethics. These are skills that employers look for.

June 2018    The youth learned how to effectively interview for a job and were interviewed by local business owners at the end of the course for a job shadowing opportunity. All of the youth completed their first skills course.

July/August 2018   Our youth had the opportunity to shadow jobs among several professions including law, printing, event planning, media broadcasting, and custom apparel. They learned about the profession, business operations and the various roles within the organizations.

The youth participated in an outdoor team building experience in which they were able to refine their skills in communication, teamwork, and problem solving.

September - November 2018 Our foster youth continued to learn about new professions and developed their skills through resume building and learning how to apply for jobs.

Our mission is to inspire foster care youth to identify their personal potential that will allow them to thrive now and after foster care.

The Regratifying Foundation's NOW program is designed to encourage foster care youth to continue their education, learn about and consider professional careers and to set future personal and career goals before they age out or emancipate from foster care.
